Job Description:
-Hot forged product and tooling design
-FEA material flow simulation/die stress analysis
-Solidworks simulation
-Tooling improvement and troubleshooting
-Manufacturing process design and development
-Analyze and apply expertise to existing products
-Manage multiple existing and newly designed projects
-Collaborate with manufacturing and quality departments
-Develop new products from customer concepts to mass production
-Drive continuous improvement of the product and forging process
-Other tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
-Technical degree
-Forging and tooling design experience 3-5 years preferred
-Knowledge of Solidworks with 3-d modeling experience
-Knowledge in material selection/heat treatment
-Basic understanding of the ANSI Y 14.5M-1999 drafting standard
-Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
-Experience with cost estimation a plus
