Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
ITEC support for DEFI-Debt Capital Market (DCM) business lines (70%):
• Provide business/technical support for in-house and third party applications.
- Handle client support calls
- Monitor nightly batch jobs and file feeds/interfaces
- Communication to all clients and other relevant ITEC members of incidents/system down time
• Log all support incidents/requests/releases into ITrack, an in-house incident/release management tool.
• Produce/update application support procedure documents
Communicate/Coordinate with ITEC-HUB Infrastructure groups and software vendors to troubleshoot production issues and to promote version releases
Application development for DEFI-Debt Capital Market (DCM) business lines (30%):
• Produce/update technical requirement documents (if applicable)
• Implement/Test systems, database, reports and feeds/interfaces
- Client requested enhancements
- Application bug fixes
- Project implementation
• Facilitate timely status report to client and management
• Stay in-touch with industry and technology. Bring new developments and opportunities to attention of management/business
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required/Must have:
Programming Languages: VB/VB.NET, VBA, SQL
Operation Systems: MS Windows NT/2K/XP, Sun Solaris
Software: MS Office, MS Access, MS Project, Crystal Reports
Desired/Plus: Shell/Perl script, C/C++, TIBCO, XML, Java, .NET, HTML, UML
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE
Required/Must have: Basic knowledge of Real Estate loans, Commercial Paper, Loans and Securities.
Required Skills/Work Experience
Required/Must have:
• 2 – 4 years total IT experience.
• 1 - 2 years banking software experience.
• Strong communications and client/user relationship skills needed to be successful in this role.
COMPETENCIES/EDUCATION
Required/Must have: Strong technical background
BS/MS in Computer Science or Major in Computer Science.
