Job description

Our client is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to support utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects across multiple states. This role is responsible for leading on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget while managing field teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day on-site construction activities for large-scale solar projects
  • Oversee subcontractors, field crews, and site staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to keep projects on track
  • Support and enforce all safety programs and ensure compliance with site requirements
  • Coordinate with project managers and participate in client and project meetings

Requirements

  • Experience supervising construction projects as a Superintendent, Site Manager, or similar field leadership role
  • Experience working on solar, renewable energy, or large-scale industrial/commercial projects preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar construction projects in a field environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site for the duration of projects across multiple states
