POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Axia by Qcells is seeking an experienced Inspection Specialist to lead and manage complex project activities across our organization. In this pivotal role, the Inspection Specialist will be tasked with evaluating and analyzing pipeline reports to determine installation readiness of projects for inspection. When projects are not ready, you will spearhead efforts with key stakeholders to drive performance and ensure readiness for scheduling.
Your responsibilities will include identifying installers with coverage in specific regions, sharing project details, coordinating and scheduling inspection dates with cities, homeowners and installation partners. Collaborating closely with senior management and cross-functional teams, you will develop detailed project plans that optimize resources, timelines, and budgets while delivering five-star customer experience.
The ideal candidate possesses advanced project management skills, a keen ability to navigate and resolve high-level challenges, and a talent for maintaining meticulous attention to detail across broad scopes. A strong commitment to providing delightful customer interactions and service is essential. Your mission is to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA or Austin, TX, with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct manager's discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate data and report on key inspection metrics.
  • Analyze pipeline reports to identify projects ready for inspection.
  • Root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks or challenges that are preventing the scheduling of the inspection from achieving monthly quotas.
  • Make recommendations for solving problems and work cross functionally and with leadership team to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput.
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections with homeowners and Installation Partners.
  • Oversee a pipeline of projects at the Site Survey, Install, and Inspection Stages to drive projects through scheduling and completion.
  • Break complex projects into manageable actions, establish timeframes, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans. Elevate risk management strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates degree with 3-5+ years (or a bachelor's degree with 3+ years) of work experience with a proven track record as a Scheduling Specialist, Project Manager, or in a similar role, including managing complex projects from inception to completion, ideally in the retrofit residential PV + ESS renewable energy sector
  • 3+ years of demonstrated expertise in developing detailed project plans using various methodologies. Ability to interpret complex flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating excellent leadership and customer experience enhancing skills, capable of guiding peers and influencing senior-level management and stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes and unparalleled customer experience.
  • Exceptional prioritization and time-management abilities, focusing on delivering high-quality positive impact.
  • Strong capabilities in client-facing situations and teamwork; adept at negotiating, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and solving ambiguous challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced project management tools (e.g., enterprise-level CRMs) and quality assurance and risk management familiarity.
