Compensation: $55K-$65K per year
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday.
NY State Solar sells, designs, and builds quality solar systems. Our focus is to provide an outstanding customer experience and deliver a high quality PV system. Dedicated to helping New York become economically and environmentally sustainable.
New York State Solar is seeking a Project Coordinator (PC) to support our project management team in the execution of solar energy installations. This role will assist in the coordination of project timelines, resources, and logistics, ensuring that projects stay on track and within budget. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, have prior supervisory or operations experience, and passionate about renewable energy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating all aspects of solar installation projects, from initial planning to
  • final handover.
  • Help organize project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including tracking project milestones, materials, and vendor information.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Provide regular updates to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders regarding project status, schedules,
  • and issues.
  • Support the identification and resolution of any issues that arise during project execution, escalating as
  • necessary.
  • Ensure that all projects meet local regulations and industry standards.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in operations, project management, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations management, project coordination, preferably within the construction
  • or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in project management and or CRM software preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and ensure all project details are accurate and timely.
