Job Description
As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals to help homeowners and businesses transition to solar energy. You will play a key role in driving our mission of making solar energy accessible and affordable for everyone. You will be working from a retail showroom where there are over 30,000 customers shopping per week. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through various channels, including referrals, cold calling, and networking.
  • Conduct in-home or virtual consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions.
  • Present and explain the benefits of solar energy, including financial savings, environmental impact, and energy independence.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotes, addressing customer questions and concerns.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, solar products, and competitors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up with customers to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Profecent English speaker (Bilingual is a plus)
