Job description

Compensation $60,000 per annum plus commission per kW of solar installed Benefits Offered Dental Medical Vision 401K Life Insurance Employment Type Full-Time Job Overview 8MSolar is one of the leading solar installation firms in North Carolina. We are seeking to hire a Commercial Site Supervisor to join our team. If you're a passionate self-starter, 8MSolar is a great company for you.

Responsibilities

Responsible for complete installation of commercial projects. Review and verify project drawings before, during and after installation. Verify materials and inventory onsite prior to construction commencing. Work with internal and external construction teams to ensure project construction milestones are hit. Manage mechanical and electrical construction crews in their tasks. Answer onsite questions from construction teams and clients. Ensure construction crews understand construction drawings and specifications. Make sure crews are following construction prints exactly during onsite construction. Verify system installation by conducting onsite testing and commissioning. Address closeout punch list items.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license in NC. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel. Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment. Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools. Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems. Willing to work overtime.
