We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality commercial finish, remodel, service, and solar installation work available, and we're looking for a self-motivated individual who can think outside the box to overcome the challenges that high-end commercial and residential electrical and solar work demand.

At Solar Pathways, we place tremendous value on not just our customers but also our employees. You'll be responsible for executing tasks to a high standard, following the lead of the head electrician or installer on the jobsite, and securing customer satisfaction through quality service and professional behavior.

We take training seriously and are committed to growing the next generation of highly skilled electricians and solar technicians — giving apprentices exposure to many different parts of the trade. A positive attitude and strong work ethic from both apprentice and lead are critical to that growth.

  • Completing assigned tasks safely, correctly, and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all PPE, tools, and equipment assigned to you are accounted for, maintained in good condition, and repaired or replaced as required
  • Interfacing with data acquisition/SCADA systems to help understand, diagnose, and troubleshoot on-site problems
  • Interacting positively with customers and maintaining a high level of service
  • Maintaining a clean, put-together image that presents well to customers, including wearing a company polo and clothing free of damage, rips, or stains
  • Providing technical support for customers as needed
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Lead

  • Willingness to learn and grow, and to provide feedback to leads
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation
  • Ability to work within a residential environment while maintaining a high level of customer service and consideration
  • No prior industry experience required — training provided

Working Conditions

  • Required to work more than 90% of the time in the field performing installations, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Work in a fast-changing environment that may require quick decisions with limited processes and procedures
  • Travel may be required

Physical Requirements
