Description

SUMMARY
The Development Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring quality assurance and management throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial planning to final production. This position collaborates with development teams to establish quality standards, proactively prevent issues, and secure the quality of the final product.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development Quality Engineer requires strong managerial skills. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conduct quality management and improvement activities throughout the solar product development phases.
  • Setting quality standards and objectives at the early stages of product development.
  • Reviewing product designs and establishing testing plans.
  • Analyze quality-related issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Participate in Gate Meetings at each development phase and provide constructive feedback.
  • Establish and implement quality assurance processes for final production.
  • Analyze reliability and quality-related data and prepare detailed reports
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management or development roles.
  • Strong understanding of product development process and preventive activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, and driven team player.  
  • Proactive approach toward various issues. 
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
  • Capable of reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by QCells
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
 
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in solar product industries
  • Familiarity with development management tools (FMEA/DRBFM, Risk Assessment, etc.).
  • Preference for Korean speaker (not mandatory) 
  • Quality certifications (ISO, Six Sigma, CQE/CRE etc.).
