Job description

A solar construction company is seeking experienced electricians to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial or utility scale solar experience who wants to lead projects, train others, and work independently in the field. Two roles are available, one focused on local service work and one focused on traveling construction projects.
Solar Electrician Responsibilities
- Perform solar electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair work in outdoor field settings
- Lead and train junior electricians on site
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Complete service calls for the local service role, or support construction builds for the traveling role
- Travel to job sites across the Southeast, Tennessee, and Illinois for the construction role
- Maintain a strong focus on safety while working outside for extended periods
- Communicate effectively with project teams and leadership on job progress
Solar Electrician Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with commercial or utility scale solar required, residential solar experience does not apply
- Comfortable working outdoors all day in varying conditions
- Able to work independently and take on a leadership or training role
