Position Overview

Solace Springs Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals grappling with substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health issues. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to balance flexibility with the demands of your professional responsibilities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for our clients. Regular virtual team meetings and case conferences will provide structure and support as you develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic services in individual, family, and group settings, prioritizing the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities, focusing on relational and interpersonal dynamics.
  • Participate actively in the multidisciplinary treatment team, contributing insights to refine the overall treatment strategies and enhance client outcomes.
  • As a Level II additional responsibility, oversee and mentor Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves clients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The population you will work with is diverse, encompassing various age groups, backgrounds, and cultural experiences. Your expertise in mood disorders will allow you to provide targeted interventions, helping clients navigate complex emotional landscapes and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current, valid license in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience, with a specialization in mood disorders and dual diagnosis treatment.
  • Proficient in widely recognized therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, facilitating effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medication management specialists.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients facing mood disorders and substance use challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care.
