Job Overview:
Jonathan Adler is seeking an experienced and highly organized Sales Administration Manager to lead the end-to-end customer service experience for our wholesale business unit. This is an integral company role, responsible for the full wholesale business lifecycle including order entry, stock inventory reporting, EDI application, warehouse coordination, international shipping support, and invoice processing. The final candidate will possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for collaboration and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sales teams to input and track orders throughout their life cycle.
  • Review available inventory and open order reports to ensure efficiency and timely warehouse processing. Communicate ex-warehouse estimates to company leadership for financial forecasting.
  • Manage EDI application of bulk orders. Coordinate directly with client buying offices to resolve discrepancies. Take the lead in ensuring buying offices transmit EDI's to align with our internal shipping goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and wholesale customers to facilitate domestic and international shipping documentation including product specifications, Proof of Delivery (POD) and Bill of Lading (BOL), cost estimates. Account for shipping or custom clearance fees on client invoices.
  • For department stores, migrate invoices to AR portals to ensure timely payment
  • Generate RA's and apply credit memo's as directed by the Sales team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales administration, customer service, logistics, or related areas.
  • Proven experience managing and coaching, with strong leadership abilities to train, mentor, and oversee remote staff.
  • Experience in the home furnishings, home décor or fashion industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with luxury department store and specialty retailers highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal sales team, wholesale customers and warehouse staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $80k-$110k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
