ย We are seeking high caliber Software Verification Engineerย  to join our Software Verification team. The Software Verification Engineer willย bring testing expertise to the innovative, and fast-paced verification team.
This high caliber, motivated and passionate individual will be responsible forย requirements analysis, test design, test execution, defect issue resolution.

Overview

  • Team supports client'sย ย Electrophysiology (EP) Mapping Systems, including SRX and EnSite X platforms.
  • Primary focus is supporting new product features, software enhancements, and verification activities within product development.
  • Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute requirement-based test cases.
  • Perform manual software verification and validation activities.
  • Review requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Document test results and provide feedback to R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with Software Development, Automation, and Verification & Validation teams.
  • Participate inย daily standups and team meetings.
  • The first 4โ€“6 weeksย dedicated to structured training.
  • Candidates will learn EP mapping systems, product functionality, and testing processes.
  • Success within the first 90 days includes completing training, understanding system requirements, and contributing effectively to test execution activities.
Role Context
  • Projects supported: EP electrophysiology mapping systems (SRX / EnSite X). Work includes supporting new features and product development.
  • Typical day: Combination of test development and test execution. Early phases focus on writing and designing requirement-based tests; later phases focus on hands-on execution and feedback to R&D.
  • Key stakeholders: Software Development, R&D teams, Automation Team, Verification & Validation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work independently and as a team member to plan,write, and execute test cases according to client practices, FDA regulatory,and ISO standard procedures.
  • Design new test suites for new features and functionality.
  • Perform dry runs and formal Verification activities as required.
  • Setup and configure Test Equipment.
  • Record and close defects found during V&V activities.
  • Perform requirements, design, and tests reviews.

Experience and Education Required:

  • Knowledge of software testing and software development lifecycle management tools.
  • Organized,on-time, quick learner, and detailed oriented.
  • Excellent documentation skillsย in delivering information that adds value to managements decision-makingย process.
  • Experienced in quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-upย skills.
  • Polished communicator - written documentation and oralย presentations/ discussions/ meetings.
  • Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization.
  • Energized attitude, proactive thinker, and self-starter.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 0 - 2 years of Medical Device industry experience.
  • Exposure software testing, verification, or validation activities.
  • Experience working on academicย or internship projects involving testing or product development.
  • Knowledge of Electrophysiology (EP) or cardiac systems is a plus.

  • Industry requirements: Medical device experience is a plus but not required.
  • Systems/tools: EP Mapping Systems (SRX / EnSite X), manual testing tools; Python/Squish used by automation team but not required for this role.
