This role ensures engineers are proficient in the software platforms, design tools, workflows, and internal standards required to perform structural engineering tasks efficiently and accurately. The Internal Engineering Training Manager works closely with supervisor, senior engineers, project managers, and leadership to align training initiatives with company standards and project needs. Work with supervisor to organize and schedule engineering training to support overall training goals, strategies, and priorities established by senior managementDevelop and deliver structured training programs for junior engineers and designers.Develop training manuals, recorded tutorials, guides, and reference materials.Train staff in using engineering software, analysis tools, drafting platforms, and internal systems required for project execution.Conduct onboarding training.Provide hands-on instruction in modeling, analysis, documentation, and calculation workflows.Offer refresher courses and advanced sessions as staff progress.Assess junior staff competency levels and identify skill gaps.Provide one-on-one coaching and technical support.What We're Looking For:Degree(s) in Civil / Structural Engineering or Architectural EngineeringProfessional Engineering Licensure 8+ years of recent structural engineering experience, preferably including supervision of othersAdvanced knowledge of steel, concrete, and masonry structural design and analysis software. Timber design is a plus but not required. Strong understanding of engineering calculations, documentation standards, and QA/QC procedures.
