Job Summary:
Themis Insight, LLC is a consulting firm that addresses complex business, IT, and analytic challenges through innovative solutions. They are seeking an Application Engineer to design software tools and subsystems, manage software development, and ensure the health of the analytic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
• Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
• Estimates software development costs and schedule.
• Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
• Help monitor the heath and status of the analytic environment to perform security patching and updates, maintain up to date documentation, automate routine tasks through scripting, and evaluate and recommend solutions based on open source or commercial options.
Qualifications:
Required:
• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.
• Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
• Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
• Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
• Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
• Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.
