About This Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer who excels at turning requirements into effective test strategies and delivering high‑quality software through thoughtful test planning, test development, and hands‑on test execution. While experience with test automation is a plus, success in this role is driven by strong testing fundamentals, critical thinking, risk assessment, collaboration, and a passion for quality.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development of test strategies and test plans that ensure appropriate coverage of product requirements and business risks.
  • Partner with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define quality objectives and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify testing priorities and recommend risk‑based testing approaches.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test procedures.
  • Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for new features and software updates.
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate quality status to project stakeholders.
  • Investigate defects, support root‑cause analysis, and verify corrective actions.
  • Ensure requirements are traceable to verification activities and test results.
  • Support software release readiness activities and change assessments.
  • Improve test methodologies, processes, and tooling to increase product quality and testing efficiency.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives where appropriate, while maintaining a strong focus on effective test planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3‑6 years of experience in software quality engineering or software testing.
  • Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex software products.
  • Strong experience executing functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Experience validating software requirements and ensuring traceability between requirements and testing activities.
  • Ability to identify quality risks, investigate defects, and partner with development teams to drive resolution.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, or scripting languages.
  • Experience contributing to automated regression testing initiatives and CI/CD quality practices.
  • Knowledge of software lifecycle processes, quality management systems, and regulated development environments.
  • Experience supporting software releases and change management activities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, risk management, and software compliance requirements.
