We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. This role involves creating, testing, and debugging software applications, and collaborating with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Create and maintain software applications for both Linux and Windows platforms.

  • Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.

  • Project Management: Utilize Jira for effective project tracking and management.

  • Documentation: Record development processes and project progress in Confluence.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.

  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in software development and/or testing, preferably with simulation systems.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in C++ programming.

    • Experience with the Qt framework for cross-platform application development.

    • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows applications.

    • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

    • Previous experience with Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    • Experience in developing test documentation (e.g., Requirements Traceability Matrix, Acceptance Test Plan, Use Case).

    • Preferred experience in system design documentation.

    • Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
