RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI System Developer I in Denver, CO.
Summary:
The AI System Developer I supports the delivery and ongoing improvement of artificial intelligence and business technology solutions across the organization. This position works closely with experienced developers and technical teams to build foundational knowledge in application development, system integrations, automation, and emerging AI technologies. The role provides hands-on experience supporting enterprise platforms while developing the technical skills needed to contribute to larger digital transformation initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assist with the development, enhancement, and support of AI-enabled applications and business systems
* Contribute to the implementation of integrations between enterprise applications, data sources, and AI services
* Participate in software development, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
* Support the analysis of business requirements and help translate them into technical solutions
* Assist with data validation, preparation, and reporting efforts
* Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and process documentation
* Follow established development standards, security requirements, and governance practices
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve application issues
* Participate in code reviews, training activities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
* Continuously develop technical skills related to AI, software engineering, and enterprise technologies
* Provide support for production systems and assist with operational maintenance activities
* Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* 0-2 years of IT, software development, or related experience
* Exposure to software development through coursework, internships, projects, or professional experience
* Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
* Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications
* Technical certifications related to software development, cloud technologies, or AI are a plus
* Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, and modern development practices preferred
* Exposure to AI, machine learning, generative AI, or LLM technologies through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
* Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, APIs, or modern application development practices
* Foundational understanding of data management, security, and software testing concepts
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
