Job description

Duties:
Responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of new and existing automation frameworks, as well as continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in test regression, tests coverage and automation of newly implemented functionality, and development of tools to enable acceptance test efficiencies. Work closely with Software Developers, Project Management and Customer Support to form and follow quality procedures, standards and specifications ensuring they are met and deliver the highest quality projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. Assist in the testing of Delivery Controls. Examine evidence of delivery controls and reports result. Identify areas of improvements in capturing and reporting of control data. Build and deploy automation tools using Python and Shell scripting to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort and improve consistency across testing and translation processes. Perform unit testing, defect diagnosis, and end-to-end validation across integrated enterprise systems such as SAP and Clarity PPM. Gather requirements, design test strategies, and communicate key findings for SaaS-based systems including HP NGQ or similar platforms, utilizing tools such as GitHub, JIRA, and Google Cloud; debug ETL pipelines, SQL queries, and reporting processes to ensure accurate data flow and system integrity. Develop and execute automated test plans and unit test cases in Java and SAP ABAP within Agile sprint cycles, and leverage JUnit and TestNG alongside JIRA for task tracking and cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate with other groups to review control data and identify improvements in the IT delivery process and controls. Contribute to the creation of dashboards and reports demonstrating control adherence and opportunities for improvement. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related and two (2) years of experience as a software quality assurance analyst, project engineer, or related
