Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer - P&C Insurance (AWS & Full Stack)
Overview / Summary
We are building a Test Engineering team within the Digital Experience organization supporting the Auto & Fire Quote & Purchase Suite. We are seeking candidates with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience. The selected resource will gather requirements, build and automate test cases, execute test scripts, validate and tabulate results, and manage defect tracking across both functional and non-functional testing. The team will help advance and mature the overall testing strategy, processes, practices, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather testing requirements for application features.
  • Design and build functional and non-functional test cases.
  • Develop and automate test scripts.
  • Execute automated and manual test scripts.
  • Validate and document test results.
  • Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Perform root cause analysis for functional and performance-related defects.
  • Contribute to the advancement of testing strategy, processes, practices, and technology.
  • Analyze and resolve system bottlenecks on infrastructure platforms.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams in an onsite/offshore delivery model.
  • Stay current with industry trends and testing best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.
  • Experience testing customer-facing applications.
  • Full Stack development experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, Spark, NodeJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, and Java J2EE.
  • Experience with AWS services including S3, Glue (ETL - PySpark, Python, Scala), Kinesis Streams, Kinesis Firehose, DynamoDB, Athena/SQL, IAM, Lambda, SNS, SQS, SES, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong experience with Terraform Enterprise (TFE).
  • Experience using Karate, SoapUI, Postman, JMeter, Artillery, and Gatling.
  • Experience automating Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience creating GitLab CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
  • AI/ML experience is a plus.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and Dynatrace is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to uncover functional and performance-related defects and perform root cause analysis.
  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships and empower others.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments.
  • Expert-level ability to resolve highly complex problems across multiple applications.
  • Working knowledge of functional and non-functional testing concepts, including performance testing and data analysis.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them to day-to-day work.
  • Comfortable working in an onsite and offshore delivery model.
