The Quality Manager, under the direction of the Plant Manager and the Regional Director of Technical Services, has the responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling quality programs at the plant location.  The Quality Manager has the responsibility of assuring product safety requirements and product specifications that conform to Seneca's quality standards, and which are in compliance with county, state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
    Perform audits to monitor compliance with all GMP standards, food safety standards, food safety issues, case and label procedures, and safety programs.
    Supervise employees on the assigned shift.
    Review and organize plant processing records for conformance with local/state/federal regulations and Company policy.
    Coordinate quality functions with the Corporate quality control team.
    Provide employee training for fill control, sanitation, double seams, product grading, IQF production, and statistical process control.
    Perform audits to monitor the sanitary conditions within the manufacturing facility.
    Administer the Company food safety program.
    Perform investigations of causes for any spoilage issues.
    Participate in food safety audits as required.
    Work interdepartmentally to achieve plant quality goals.
    Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
    Good attention to detail and accuracy.
    Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.
    Strong communication skills.
    One to two years of supervisory experience.
    Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field.
    Certified (or able to become certified) in Better Process Control School, Thermal Processing, and Container Closure.
 

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from Wage range will be $85k-$95K.
