Primary Location: Holtsville, NY
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Software QA Engineer II for our premier client in Holtsville, NY.
Education and Experience ยป
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with Kafka and MQTT
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux
  • Must be a self-starter and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions).
  • Preferred Work Experience (years): 5+ years experience with manual and automated testing.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong experience with either Playwright or Selenium
  • Strong experience with either Java or Python
  • Strong experience with either Junit or PyTest
  • Experience with Devcontainers (Docker & Kubernetes

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain manual & automated browser, mobile and API test scripts.
  • Ensures proper execution of test procedures and automated test suites and scripts.
  • Understand business requirements and come up with test strategy to do different types of required testing and requirement traceability.
  • Work with both the Product Owner and development team to understand QA needs and develop QA Test Plan accordingly.
  • Work with team members from QA, DevOps and Developers for implementation & deployment.
  • Establishes strong working relationships with team members and cross functional teams. Cross BU collaboration and release planning.
  • Follow established Agile process and QA best practices, process and guidelines for high quality releases.
