Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Project Manager to guide complex software initiatives in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania. This role brings together cross-functional teams, aligns business goals with technical execution, and keeps delivery on track from initial planning through launch and ongoing support. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership with a practical understanding of software delivery methods and clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Direct software projects across the full delivery lifecycle, from early discovery and roadmap development to release coordination and post-launch follow-up.
• Partner with product leaders, engineers, designers, quality teams, business partners, and clients to establish objectives, define outcomes, and confirm priorities.
• Build and maintain detailed delivery plans that outline timelines, sprint cadence, milestones, staffing needs, and key dependencies.
• Oversee scope management by reviewing requested changes, assessing impact, securing alignment, and sharing updates with affected stakeholders.
• Convert business objectives into well-defined user stories, functional tasks, and measurable acceptance standards for delivery teams.
• Monitor progress against plans, surface risks and impediments early, and provide regular status reporting to leadership and project stakeholders.
• Lead Agile team ceremonies such as sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, daily check-ins, reviews, and retrospectives to support consistent execution.
• Coordinate testing efforts, release preparation, deployment readiness, and production launch activities to support successful software delivery.
• Maintain thorough project records, including decisions, action items, requirements, dependencies, risk logs, and release-related documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery practices, team collaboration, and project management processes across cross-functional groups.• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, design, or a related field, or comparable relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading software development projects in a work environment.
• Strong knowledge of software delivery frameworks and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
• Experience supporting projects involving web applications, mobile products, SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, or software integrations.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand technical dependencies, constraints, and implementation considerations.
• Demonstrated experience creating project schedules, release plans, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with project management platforms such as Jira, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and maintain accountability for deadlines and deliverables.
