Job description

M&S Engineering, LLC seeks a qualified Project Coordinator in the Substation Division at our Spring Branch, Texas location to perform a variety of administrative duties to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and administration to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist project managers with the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects. Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and organized.
  • Work with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the necessary resources are available and allocated to the project.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and project teams. Facilitate clear communication and information flow between all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines. Track milestones and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met and that potential issues are flagged early.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and reporting, ensuring that the project stays within financial limits. Help track expenses and review invoices.
  • Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Address issues as they arise to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project adhere to quality standards and compliance regulations.
  • Maintain accurate project files, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and other relevant documentation. Prepare project reports and presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, ideally within an engineering, construction, or consulting firm is preferred.
  • Demonstrates high initiative by proactively identifying opportunities, taking ownership of responsibilities, and driving tasks forward with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
