Position Title: Program Manager
Organization: kidsPACK
Location: Lakeland, FL
Reports To: Executive Director

Position Summary

The Program Manager plays a critical leadership role in the operations and sustainability of kidsPACK. This position oversees the coordination and implementation of the kidsPACK weekend feeding program for homeless and food-insecure students while managing the organization’s program operation, reporting, fundraising support, grant administration reporting, and community partnerships.

The role combines program management, coordination, and operational administration to ensure the successful delivery of services and compliance with funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Program Operations

  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of the kidsPACK weekend feeding program.
  • Manage delivery schedules to schools, churches, and partner organizations.
  • Coordinate distribution dates for weekend meal packs.
  • Maintain accurate program student counts as approved by funding sources.
  • Organize and manage outside food drives supporting the program.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners, schools, churches, and organizations.

 

Fundraising & Development

  • Execute fundraising initiatives including food drives, special events, and large-scale fundraising campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage all “Fundraiser for kidsPACK” events.
  • Manage and maintain donor systems and donation tracking.

Grants Administration

  • Execute grant activities under the guidance of the Executive Director.
  • Manage reporting requirements for all grants.
  • Track deliverables and outcomes required by funding partners.

Marketing & Communications

  • Implement marketing initiatives across social media platforms and the organization’s website.
  • Assist with communications related to fundraising, grants, and community engagement.
  • Maintain the Board portal and website with updated information.

Systems & Data Management

  • Manage C-Suite software systems and related coding needs.
  • Manage Qgiv donation platform and programming.
  • Maintain data accuracy for donors, program participants, and financial records.

 Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ work experience in nonprofit operations, program management, or relevant business experience.
  • Experience with grant management and nonprofit financial reporting preferred.

Skills

  • Strong management and budgeting skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
