PROGRAM MANAGER ROLE:

Job Description and Tasks:

The program manager (PM) is responsible for management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel (including sub-contractors) to satisfy the requirements identified "in this PWS. The PM is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budget, building and managing project teams, reporting to project sponsors, and ensuring quality control throughout project lifecycles.

The PM serves as an advocate for the MARS Program from initial design through completion. The PM shall oversee the performance of all assigned Contractor personnel for each project. The PM, alongside MARS PMO leadership shall ensure that all contractor personnel assigned to the project are knowledgeable of the contract requirements, terms and conditions, deliverables, and schedule requirements. Duties include attending, planning, and conducting meetings for multiple projects and task orders and oversight responsibility for contractor performance to include technical, contractual. and administrative functions.

Manages and supervises contractor personnel for all aspects of the contract; an(l organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees successful completion of contractor personnel tasks. The PM creates project plans for the contract to achieve performance- based objectives, enhancing implementation, systems and services.

Qualifications

Education: B.S. or B.A with Ten (10) years minimum experience.

Minimum Experience Required:

Relevant work experience with the Department of Defense. (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC).

Preferred Experience Required: None specified.

Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP} certification is desired but not required.

Security Clearance:

This position requires TOP SECRET clearance/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
