As a Systems Engineer, you'll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Position Summary

The Product Manager in the Lab D&A team is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital solutions for lab operations that drive automation, data integrity, and operational efficiency across labs. This role partners closely with solution architects, application development leads, and lab operations leadership, and chairs the product governance body to ensure alignment, prioritization, and change management for all released products and applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and communicate the product vision and multi-year roadmap for digital applications for lab operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and lab operational goals.
  • Quantify and track product KPIs around automation, data integrity, cycle time, and user adoption.
  • Lead the transition from fragmented legacy workflows to unified, scalable platforms, collaborating with architects and engineering.

2. Governance & Change Management

  • Chair the decision-making body for change management and project prioritization, ensuring structured governance and recurring reviews of submitted product change requests
  • Approve, hold, or cancel projects entering the change management process, set priorities, and maintain the health of the change request pipeline and associated metrics.
  • Act as the escalation point for unresolved issues before senior management involvement.

3. Customer Discovery & Workflow Enablement

  • Lead discovery with BU stakeholders, LabOps, GIS, and other partners to design business-specific workflows and hardware/process execution capabilities
  • Analyze, optimize, and document end-to-end processes to drive operational efficiency and support organizational goals.
  • Facilitate MVP scoping, governance for upgrades, and new features; define clear problem statements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.

4. Execution & Delivery Leadership

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, design, product operations) to deliver high-quality releases on time; maintain clear release notes.
  • Lead readiness with GIS, AIx, and BU teams, including training plans and rollout communications for lab applications.
  • Drive training and adoption programs across user communities; capture feedback to inform backlog prioritization and roadmap iteration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years in product management, program management, enterprise systems, or related fields with progressive responsibility.
  • Proven experience with lab automation systems; familiarity with lab operations and process/metrology workflows.
  • Expertise collaborating on cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP), microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, optimize, and document complex business processes with strong stakeholder engagement across BU, GIS, and LabOps.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
