Expert Software Product Manager
Description -
We are looking for an experienced Expert Software Product Manager to drive the planning and delivery of high-impact software products and features across HP's consumer notebook portfolio.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating customer needs and business goals into clear product direction, while partnering closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to execute effectively. You will play a critical role in shaping roadmap priorities, driving initiatives forward, and ensuring successful delivery at scale.
This role is well-suited for product managers who combine strong execution instincts with strategic thinking and enjoy working across organizational boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of software products or major features, from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Define and communicate product requirements, priorities, and success metrics aligned to broader portfolio strategy
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform roadmap decisions
  • Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and platforms to improve customer experiences
  • Partner closely with engineering and UX to deliver high-quality, customer-centric software
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across commercial, marketing, partnerships, and operational teams
  • Track and analyze product performance using data and customer feedback to guide iteration
  • Represent the product in planning forums, reviews, and cross-team working sessions

Required Qualifications
