Job description

Quality Systems & Compliance Manager

Shape how quality lives across our operation—from the production floor to the supplier network and back to the customer.

A day in the role

You start by opening the dashboard: the overnight KPIs reveal a minor trend in rework, and a customer ticket needs a quick root-cause review. After a brief stand-up with inspectors and technicians, you walk the line to verify process checks, then sit down with Engineering to align on a corrective action plan. Late morning is dedicated to an internal audit sampling, followed by a supplier quality review call. In the afternoon, you lead a CAPA workshop, update leadership on performance metrics, and wrap up by coaching a cross-functional team on new work instructions and ISO expectations.

Core accountabilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead and supervise QC inspectors, technicians, and quality personnel.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify quality issues.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance reports.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, and other departments to improve product quality.
  • Manage supplier quality evaluations and audits.
  • Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
What you bring
  • 5+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
Preferred profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar certification.
  • Experience with ISO 9001.
Competencies that set you up for success
  • Leadership and team management
  • Attention to detail
  • Decision-making and problem-solving
  • Process improvement
  • Risk management
  • Project management
  • Communication and collaboration
Working conditions
  • May require occasional travel for supplier audits, customer visits, or training.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
