Job Description
Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift (15 Days A Month)
  • Provide coaching, support, training and direction to a team of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Exemplifies the Amcor Values and Behaviors at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plant.
  • Act as the point of contact for plant personnel for day to day maintenance issues.
  • Verify PMs are being completed properly.
  • Conduct shift turnover communication, to Group Lead and other Team Leads.
  • Maintain maintenance work area and tools in clean orderly manner
  • Complete preventative maintenance checks and use computer software to enter, update, and close work orders.
  • Order replacement parts and equipment as needed.
  • Complete various paperwork including front line leader daily checklists in Group Lead's absence.
  • Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and accessory support equipment and direct the team in making repairs.
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair
  • Verification of cleaning machine and surrounding area after repairs
  • Familiar with replacing belts, pulleys, cables, chains, bearings, gears and related equipment.
  • Repairs, and rebuilds plant machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot problem machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
  • Understanding of the functionality of relays, motor contactors, motor starters, solid state relays, soft starts and variable frequency drives.
  • Familiarity with operation and troubleshooting of PLCs.
  • Read, interpret, and trouble shoot using schematic diagrams
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
