DevSecOps/Cloud Security Manager
Long-term with Insight Global
Location: based out of Arlington, VA
Rate: $72.12 - 84.13/hour
Role Overview: · Lead the end-to-end management of Bespin cloud engagement kits. · Ensure rapid deployment, maintenance, and retirement of cloud-based infrastructure supporting critical incident response and threat hunting operations. · Act as the primary contact for government stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: · Engagement Kit Management: · Oversee provisioning and fulfillment of engagement kit requests within eight business hours of federal authorization. · Manage decommissioning and secure termination of engagement kits after data archival confirmation. · Coordination: · Collaborate with engagement leads, analysts, case managers, and federal leadership to ensure mission alignment. · Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and government stakeholders. · Reporting: · Produce and deliver weekly operational reports detailing engagement kit status, health, and performance metrics. · Incident Response: · Lead incident response and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues. · Resource Management: · Manage resource allocation, scaling operations to match engagement requirements. · Oversee software license management and coordinate hardware shipments as needed. · Compliance and Security: · Ensure compliance with security protocols, including TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption and hardened cloud configurations. · Continuous Improvement: · Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for cloud operations.
Required Skills: · Active TS/SCI clearance. · Ability to obtain DHS Suitability. · 8+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management. · 3+ years of management or team leadership experience. · Expert knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture. · Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response operations. · Experience managing 24/7 operational environments. · Excellent communication skills, capable of briefing senior leadership. · Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
Desired Skills: · Experience supporting federal government programs. · Background in cybersecurity operations or threat hunting. · Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.
Required Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or · High School diploma with 10+ years of directly relevant experience. _____________________________________________________________________________________
