Job description

WHAT WE'RE DOING
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we are driven by innovation and integrity. We believe that by applying the highest standards of business ethics and visionary thinking, everything is within our reach - and yours as a Lockheed Martin employee. Lockheed Martin values your skills, training and education. We are a dynamic team on a recurring multi- year, critical program seeking a Software License Analyst/Configuration/Data Management Analyst who likes to be challenged and solve problems.
WHO WE ARE
At C2 Ground, we are a diverse group of programs unified in our mission to support various customers and capabilities within the Command and Control Domain. As a Family of Programs we deliver a wide range of hardware and software solutions that provide mission-critical capabilities to our customers. Our software products focus on key areas such as Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED), Communications, and Mission Planning Applications, while our hardware products include customizable and transportable mobile ground shelters and mission equipment designed to thrive in diverse environments and climates.
THE WORK
The Software License Management & CM/DM Analyst serves as the strategic backbone for both software licensing and configuration management on the C2 Ground Systems program. In this hybrid role you will manage the complete software license lifecycle while simultaneously establishing, controlling, and accounting for software baselines, product data, and engineering documentation. By integrating meticulous inventory control, proactive renewal coordination, rigorous baseline stewardship, and robust data driven analytics, you will ensure that every software asset, maintenance agreement, and configuration item is fully compliant, accurately traced, and optimized for cost and performance. Leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Product Data Management (PDM) systems, you will turn what could be bureaucratic overhead into a powerful engine of operational readiness, risk mitigation, and mission success.
WHO YOU ARE
The CM/DM Analyst's role will combine working with CDRL deliveries, configuration/data management plans, and standard operating procedures for the C4 programs, interpreting customers' proposals statements of work (SOWs) to develop CM/DM basis of estimates.
In addition, the responsibilities will include reviewing customer SOWs to develop S/CDRL delivery schedules and document number schema, analyzing S/CDRL requirements lists, generating soon to come due lists to ensure on-time S/CDRL delivery submittals. You will be responsible for tracking S/CDRL metrics and supporting releases to deliver approved deliverable and non-deliverable artifacts while implementing controls to ensure integrity.
The CM responsibilities will also include software builds, supporting the software team, providing documentation to the customer and you will perform data transfers, as required. Solid knowledge of Project Management life cycles and document workflow processes, experience in scheduling, tracking, and submitting contractually required S/CDRLs, and a demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate one or more of the following: Engineering Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards, Process Review Boards, Risk & Opportunity Mgt. Boards, and Program Change Control Boards.
