Job description

Overview

Intuit is revolutionizing the mid-market with the Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES). We are seeking a Partner Implementation Consultant to act as a strategic mentor and technical architect for our Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex IES features and firm workflows. By driving Time to First Value (TTFV), ensuring data integrity, and empowering partners through a "Train the Trainer" approach, you will transform IES into a high-efficiency engine that serves as the bedrock for our clients' long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • VAR Enablement, Certification & "Train the Trainer": Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the IES platform and accounting standards. Manage the enablement, education, and certification plans for VAR service offerings. Establish a short-runway to get partners to onboarding independence, ensuring they can deliver high-quality service while continuous education takes place.
  • Strategic Feature Implementation: Drive firm implementations for new features quarterly, ensuring existing customers are seamlessly onboarded and adopting new capabilities as they are released.
  • Escalation & Prioritization Management: Expertly prioritize work and technical escalations. Comfortably use your voice to escalate firm needs to leadership and product teams, while accurately self-evaluating what can be solved independently versus what requires escalation support.
  • Implementation Shadowing & Strategic Support: Work closely with VAR clients and their Intuit CSMs. Directly support a subset of VAR clients, allowing partner employees to shadow your workflow to understand the technical and consultative nuances of the service.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track VAR client credentialing progress and provide internal leadership with data-driven insights on program and platform improvements. Provide firms with clear status updates on their progress.
  • Strategic Feedback Loop: Partner closely with Senior Leaders in Service Delivery and Strategy to identify customer friction points. Supply documented recommendations on opportunities to improve product or service workflows to drive better outcomes.
  • On-the-Ground Training: Provide direct, "white-glove" assistance and training to VAR teams. This role requires travel 25%–30% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in high-touch software implementation, management consulting, or professional services (Big 4 experience preferred).
  • Accounting Expertise: 8+ years of direct experience in complex accounting for multi-entity enterprises.
  • Credentials: Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential highly preferred to establish immediate "peer-level" credibility with professional firms and partners.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced expertise in the IES ecosystem, including complex migrations from QuickBooks Desktop or legacy ERPs.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing multi-party implementations where external consultants or third-party firms are primary stakeholders.
  • The "Polish" Factor: Exceptional presence and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive partner dynamics and maintain "trusted advisor" status under pressure.
  • Travel Readiness: Requires providing direct, "white-glove" on-the-ground training. Candidates must have the ability to travel 25%–35% of the time to engage directly with firms on-site.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Atlanta/Plano:  $112,500 - $152,500

Mountain View: $133,000-$180,000

San Diego: $125,500-$170,000

This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days a week in office.
