About Us

Universal Accounting Software, Inc. (UAS) develops CAVU ERP, an industry-specific enterprise software solution designed to help distributors, building supply businesses, equipment rental companies, and other industrial organizations streamline operations and improve profitability.


We are looking for an experienced accounting software professional who enjoys working with people and wants to combine their accounting expertise with technology, training, implementation, and customer support. This is a highly visible, client-facing position within our Technical Services department, supporting customers throughout their entire journey—from implementation and training to ongoing software support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to CAVU ERP clients via phone, email, and remote sessions.
  • Train new and existing customers on accounting processes and ERP workflows.
  • Participate in new client implementations, onboarding, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the U.S. (approximately 20%) for implementations, consulting, and training.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot reported issues to determine whether they result from business processes, system configuration, user error, or software functionality, and work closely with our development team during debugging and issue resolution.
  • Perform software testing to validate reported issues and verify resolutions.
  • Document every customer interaction, issue, and resolution in Zendesk.
  • Collaborate with Development, Sales, and Technical Services to deliver an outstanding client experience.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their business and helping them maximize the value of CAVU ERP.

Required Qualifications

Strong practical accounting experience, including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Financial Statements
- Month-end / Year-end closing processes.
- Wholesale distribution and industrial retail accounting experience a plus.

  • Experience using ERP or accounting software such as: Epicor, Acumatica, Infor, NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar ERP/accounting systems
  • Outstanding English-language verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting and software concepts clearly, professionally, and accurately to clients.
  • A personable, professional, and approachable personality with a genuine desire to help clients succeed.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the discipline to follow issues through to complete resolution.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with the entire team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% throughout the United States.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ERP software.
  • Experience participating in and/or leading software implementations.
  • Knowledge of SQL or relational databases.
  • Experience using Zendesk or similar customer support platforms.
  • Experience delivering software training or customer education.

Work Location
Note: This is not a remote or hybrid position, except for required business travel.
