Job description

MissionHires is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst (Business Solutions Architect) to act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams. This role leads solution design and end-to-end software implementation, translating business needs into actionable requirements, integrating those into project plans, and validating that delivered solutions meet objectives. Onsite for the first 6 months, then hybrid (3 days/week). Preferred locations include Mechanicsburg, PA; Westminster, MD; Mount Joy, PA; and Winchester, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead solution design and delivery by translating business needs into clear system requirements and influencing standards and best practices across projects
  • Own the full software implementation lifecycle: requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and training
  • Research, assess, and recommend emerging technologies that balance efficiency and risk
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements and capabilities
  • Partner with vendor management to evaluate, select, and procure software solutions
  • Ensure proper solution configuration; document architecture and data flows; oversee and coordinate testing activities
  • Work with Business Owners to validate that solutions align with business objectives and deliver expected outcomes
  • Partner with Project Managers to integrate requirements into project plans, support milestone tracking, and maintain clear communication throughout delivery and testing
  • Develop business cases and evaluate solution options to support informed decision‑making
  • Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams to drive successful implementation and adoption
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Generally 5+ years of experience implementing software solutions
  • Strong capability mapping and requirements analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and work independently
  • IIBA certification preferred
  • Willingness to be onsite for the first 6 months, then hybrid (3 days/week) at a preferred location (Mechanicsburg, PA; Westminster, MD; Mount Joy, PA; Winchester, VA)
