Engineering Technician
Burnsville, MN | Contract to hire| $26/hr - $32/hr
Konik is partnering with an engineering firm to hire an Engineering Technician. The technician supports the process of design, operation, testing, and implementation of products and systems.
Engineering Technician Responsibilities:

  • Directly supports the daily operations of hardware and software development
  • Comes up with testing strategies and documentation for software and system applications
  • Modifies hardware and software through investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, and testing
  • Conducts system troubleshooting at the physical and logical level, working with measurement hardware and software

Engineering Technician Qualifications:

  • 2-4 year vocational degree with a preferred electrical focus
  • 4 plus years of work experience in an electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing role.
  • Proven working experience or knowledge in a technical environment
  • Knowledge of reading and following prints, along with mechanical and electrical-related standards
  • Experience with lab equipment and tools (especially torque tightness measurements)
