Project Engineering Manager — Grayson, Kentucky

Our client, a food manufacturing operation based in Grayson, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead capital and facility improvement projects across the plant. This is a site-level leadership role with direct impact on operational efficiency, safety, and long-term infrastructure. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute capital improvement and facility projects from concept through completion
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to align project scope with production requirements
  • Develop project budgets, timelines, and resource plans; track progress and report to plant leadership
  • Manage relationships with contractors, equipment vendors, and engineering firms
  • Ensure all projects comply with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement engineering solutions to address recurring operational or equipment issues
  • Support capacity expansion, line upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and develop project engineering staff where applicable
Qualifications
