What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and deploy quality processes and standards. Maintain accurate records and process documentation to comply with organizational standards.

  • Direct daily activities of the quality inspectors (assembly, receiving, finished goods). Interviewing, Training, Appraising Performance, and resolving issues of the quality inspectors.

  • Support receiving, finishing, and weld teams to ensure a reliable supply of conforming components to production to meet build requirements.

  • Partner with and advise design engineering, vendors and suppliers on matters concerning dimensioning/tolerancing as they relate to finished goods quality.

  • Develop and deploy quality processes and standards. Maintain accurate records and process documentation to comply with organizational standards.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, nondestructive testing, or equivalent technical area of study preferred, High School or equivalent required.

  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD models. Familiar with design and inspection software utilization (CAD, Polyworks, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of SAP transactions related to quality, iBase, and inventory.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Quality Assurance Supervisor is regularly required to use hands to manipulate or feel objects, tools, or controls. The job can require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms. This role must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
