We're supporting a data-focused company on a contract hybrid Lead Software Engineer role based in Ashburn, VA. US Citizens only. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite per week. The max rate is $92/hour (C2C).

We're looking for strong lead-level candidates with deep hands-on backend engineering experience.

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of software development experience focused on Java backend development .
  • 2+ years in a technical lead role
  • Strong experience with Python and working within an AWS environment
  • Solid DevOps skills (on-prem and AWS, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Proven experience maintaining production-ready systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
