Job Summary:
Seeking a top-notch hands-on Software Engineer to work on design of system manufacturing test software for the quality of Server, IoT , Workstation or Rack products.
As part of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the projects and provide technical expertise and recommendations to support and enhance our development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer at Supermicro, you will:
  • Architect and design system manufacturing test software solutions using to diagnose assembly system units in the factory powerfully for figuring out defects related to product assembly or design.
  • Remain at the forefront of cutting-edge server technologies, ensuring your solutions are innovative and competitive.
  • Develop and innovate advanced testing features that improve factory efficiency, test coverage, and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, providing timely resolutions to consolidate system product reliability and performance before production team ships good products to customers.
  • Engage closely with our development team in Taiwan, collaborating daily to align on project goals and manufacturing test software solutions.
  • Collaborate across different departments as design, PM, validation, and production teams for the success of product quality

Qualifications:
  • Fluent in Mandarin, able to communicate with the Taiwanese team and supervisor.
  • A Bachelor's, Master's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or related fields from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Software Design Engineer or a related role, demonstrating substantial expertise in software engineering, especially in server management software development and automatic testing.
  • Proficiency in Linux programming by shell, python scripts, or Golang language and CursorAI IDE is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within a diverse team environment.
  • Have experience on familiar Linux operation, tool development, SVN and GitLab usage.

Salary Range
$90,000 - $135,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
