Overview

Are you ready to join a growing team?

CTG is seeking a Software Engineer III to support the execution and modernization of a Loan IQ integrations platform within a regulated financial services environment. This role focuses on transforming architecture into production-ready solutions, improving integration resiliency, and modernizing payment and downstream system workflows. The engineer will work independently and support both strategic integration initiatives and BAU operations.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and modernize Loan IQ integration architecture across payments and downstream systems
• Build and refactor REST/SOAP/file-based integrations (SFTP, batch processing)
• Replace legacy SQL-based integrations with API-driven solutions
• Develop modular, reusable integration services aligned to target-state architecture
• Improve observability through logging, monitoring, and error-handling frameworks
• Support CI/CD pipelines including automated build, test, and deployment
• Translate architecture/design documentation into production implementations
• Perform root-cause analysis, incident support, and BAU release activities
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of enterprise software engineering experience (10+ preferred)
• Strong .NET (Core/modern .NET) development experience
• Hands-on experience with integration patterns: REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, batch processing
• Experience in distributed systems with strong logging/monitoring practices
• Proven ability to deliver architecture-driven integration solutions
• Experience working in regulated or financial services environments preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills

• Loan IQ integration experience
• Cloud or hybrid architecture experience
• Experience modernizing legacy batch/scheduled systems
• Experience building shared enterprise integration services

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
