Role: Senior Azure Software Engineer (Hybrid)
Location: Columbia, SC 29201
Duration: 12 to 24 Months 
Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online
Work Location: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 days remote).
Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed.
 
Scope of the project:
This is a broad Position, that will serve as a team lead for the Enterprise Applications team.  This position will facilitate collaboration between the Enterprise Applications team and other teams within the agency.  The team member in this position will be Expected to serve as the primary escalation authority for complex technical issues, demonstrating robust expertise in cloud computing, systems engineering, and networking.
 
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage Azure integrations and applications.
  • Ensure Azure Active Directory (AAD) configurations align with business requirements.
  • Architect build and maintain solutions in Power Platform including apps, flows, Power Pages and Copilot Studio.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups.
  • Implement and configure integrations with third-party software including out-of-the-box integrations and custom built applications
  • Monitor and Design solutions to ensure seamless communication and data transfer between systems.
  • Provide technical support for third-party software issues.
  • Deploy regular system and infrastructure updates.
  • Document changes and update configurations as needed.
  • Train and mentor existing staff on new tools and technologies.
  • Document best practices, Recommend system enhancements, Work with system architects as a technical SME and create technical guides for reference.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights and provide feedback.
  • Oversee projects related to Existing and newly acquired vendor software.
  • Interface with business units to understand their technical needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement IT solutions.
  • Gather feedback from business teams to continually refine IT services.
  • Work with agency security engineers, to identify and remediate system vulnerabilities
  • Lead escalations involving multi-vendor collaboration to resolve complex integration, messaging, identity, and cloud service issues.
  • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot Copilot Studio bots and AI-driven workflows, integrating them with enterprise data sources and Power Platform components
