Schedule: 9/80

Location: San Diego, CA

Contract Length: Long-term Contract

Education: Bachelors Degree

Rate: $32 to $123 (per hour on a non-benefitted W2 contract)

Job Description:

In this role, you will contribute to the development and sustainment of mission-critical software that delivers reliable PNT data to U.S. Navy surface ships. What are the main functions of this role? This position requires onsite work and active engagement in cross-discipline collaboration while supporting Agile software development cycles, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD driven integration activities.

  • Develop, debug, and enhance software features for GPNTS tactical and support systems
  • Participate in software design, including interface definitions and architectural discussions
  • Investigate and resolve complex system level issues involving software, networking, and sensor data
  • Create and maintain automated tests, and support continuous integration pipelines
  • Collaborate with systems engineering to verify requirements and ensure traceability
  • Work within an Agile team, contributing to sprints, backlog refinement, and technical reviews
  • Support DevSecOps processes including secure coding practices, automated builds, and continuous delivery
  • Maintain technical documentation and participate in configuration/change management workflows
