Role: Python SDET – (ETL/Data Testing)
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, Local Only)
Client: Infosys 

Job Description:
We are looking for a Python SDET with strong hands-on experience in ETL testing and automation. The candidate will extract data from AWS (S3/CodeBuild), validate and transform using Python (Pandas, PySpark), and build automated test cases with Pytest. The role requires strong coding, data validation, and automation skills.

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong Python coding (logic building, data handling)
  • Pandas & PySparkread/transform/write large datasets (Excel/CSV/Parquet)
  • ETL testing & data validation (row counts, schema checks, transformations)
  • AWS (S3, CodeBuild) for data pipelines
  • Pytest framework (automation, reporting with Allure preferred)
  • SQL/PostgreSQL for backend validation
  • API testing (Python requests/Postman)

Nice to Have:

  • UI automation (Selenium/Cypress)
  • Workflow orchestration (Airflow, DAGs)
