Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of custom-engineered industrial equipment and system assemblies. This role is responsible for creating detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings, supporting fabrication processes, and ensuring designs meet quality, functionality, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities
-Design custom mechanical components, fabricated parts, and system assemblies using CAD software.
-Develop 3D models, assembly layouts, detailed parametric drawings, and manufacturing files for production.
-Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for fabricated and assembled products.
-Generate 2D schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical sketches as required.
-Utilize CAM software to create machine-ready programs for CNC manufacturing operations.
-Verify dimensions and specifications of purchased and manufactured components.
-Perform engineering analyses and simulations to validate designs under specified operating conditions.
-Support quality assurance through inspection of fabricated components and finished assemblies.
-Collaborate with production, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
-Participate in new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Follow established quality, safety, and environmental standards.
-Perform additional engineering and project-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
-2 years experience minimum as a Mechanical Engineer
-Experience conducting Design, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential design risks, evaluate failure modes, and -implement mitigation strategies throughout the product development lifecycle
-Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and mechanical design.
-Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
