The Software Development group creates and supports the customer facing software applications and solutions. The department applies best practices and innovative technology to stakeholder and business issues to find solutions that maximize investment value. The Software Development Team Lead I manages groups of technical employees who develop software, troubleshoots, and provide advanced technical support in adherence to the companyโ€™s standards, policies and procedures under the direction and guidance of a Software Development Manager. The Software Development Team Lead I applies a general aptitude across a wide range of technical and behavioral skills in leading individuals and activities within their area of discipline and performs individual contributor activities to help the team accomplish deliverables including software testing, quality assurance and technical support activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience

  • 8 years professional software quality assurance experience writing and executing functional and regression testing

  • A demonstrable high-level of proficiency with project planning and execution

  • 2 years of senior or lead level activities with demonstrated leadership characteristics


Preferred

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

  • 12 years of professional QA experience writing and executing functional and regression testing

  • 2+ years of IT leadership experience


Considered an expert in a specific area of technology and/or SDLC
