As a Software Development Manager, you will lead an established engineering team in New York City building and
operating Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP. Delivering reliable, high-performance storage at AWS scale requires technical leaders with extraordinary expertise and boundless creativity. You will own your team's roadmap and its operational excellence, hire and grow engineers, and make the architectural calls that determine how a distributed storage system behaves under load and under failure

Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers in delivery and operational excellence of an AWS service
- Hire, mentor, and promote engineers
- Work with teams across AWS to build new solutions
- Build mechanisms to drive the highest standards within your team
- Work with product managers, principal engineers, and senior leadership to define the technical roadmap and strategy for FSx
A day in the life
