Job Summary:
Ampcus Inc is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Content Platform team. The role involves providing first-level support and development for production software application issues, primarily focusing on merchandising applications and enhancing existing software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• developing monitoring solutions
• troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA)
• performing SQL queries
• improving our systems that gather metrics on our features
• updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges
• working alongside development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects
• updating/enhancing our current software
• automation of support processes
• documentation of our systems
Qualifications:
Required:
• A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Detail oriented
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work independently
• Can maintain professionalism under pressure
Preferred:
• Coding skills: Perl, C/C++ and/or Java
