Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent/Foreman to lead and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management and scheduling software. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project quality and timelines. The Superintendent/Foreman will play a critical role in coordinating activities across multiple disciplines, including pipeline installation, earthwork, and roadway construction, to deliver projects efficiently and within scope. This role is the process and subject matter expert for all phases

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise construction crews on heavy civil projects, including pipelines, roadways, and infrastructure developments.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using company software and other construction management software to ensure timely completion.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings as well as GPS to guide site activities.

  • Manage daily operations on-site, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.

  • Monitor project budgets and assist with construction estimating and cost control efforts.

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and manage documentation related to project progress.

  • Ensure all construction process are most efficient and productive

  • Supervise the use of construction management software for reporting, scheduling updates, and communication.

  • Train and mentor crew members to promote a productive and safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in heavy civil construction supervision or management roles with a strong background in pipeline projects or similar infrastructure work.

  • Extensive knowledge of Construction Management Software, plans and specification knowledge.

  • Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, construction estimating, quality control procedures, and contract management.

  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is required.

  • Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams on large-scale projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction site operations including earthwork, pipe installation, roadway development, and bridges are a plus.

  • Ability to operate and understand thoroughly all phases of the construction site

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively under tight deadlines. This position offers an opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects while working within a dynamic team committed to safety excellence and quality craftsmanship.
