Overview

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Validation Authority engineering team, with a primary focus on automation testing and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will work closely with software engineers and QA professionals to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using TestNG / ATS, and to integrate tests into modern CI/CD workflows. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world systems, tools, and best practices in software quality and DevOps.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using TestNG / ATS
  • Execute and analyze automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Monitor pipeline execution results and help troubleshoot test failures
  • Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and execution time
  • Maintain test documentation and report defects with clear reproduction steps
  • Learn and apply best practices in software testing, automation, and DevOps
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic programming experience in Java (or a similar language)
  • Familiarity with automation testing concepts and frameworks (TestNG preferred)
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
